CHEF announces sponsorship of Bocuse d'Or

CHEF, the premium range of stocks and jus from Nestlé Professional has announced it is sponsoring Bocuse d'Or 2009 at the International Hotel, Catering & Food Exhibition, Sirha, Lyon, France on 27th-28th January.
CHEF is also hosting a study tour for a number of development chefs so they can experience the awards themselves. Bocuse d'Or showcases some of the finest talent from the best kitchens in the world by inviting 24 chefs from 24 countries to compete in a live theatre performance. Entrants will have to prepare, cook and present two dishes within five and a half hours. Martin Lines, marketing director, Nestlé Professional explains why getting involved was so important: "It's about giving support, inspiration and exchanging knowledge. Bocuse d'Or is an exceptional springboard for today's young talent. We see Bocuse d'Or as an ideal showcase for CHEF to get involved with alongside our other industry partnerships, such as Toque d'Or and The Restaurant Association in the UK."
