Charlton House wins Oxfordshire University contract

16th Nov 2009 - 00:00
Abstract
Charlton House has gained a £180,000 catering contract with Oxfordshire University Administration and Services (OUAS).
Under an initial three year contract, the independent caterers now manage a full restaurant service for 400 people on site at Wellington Square in Oxford since the contract opened on 2nd November 2009. Prior to the opening, Charlton House also managed a full refurbishment of the restaurant. Ben Mann, the Charlton House business development manager who was responsible for gaining the new contract, said: "The restaurant is on the second floor of the building, overlooking the bustling Little Clarendon Street. We gave the restaurant and the menu a full make-over to provide contemporary food in an attractive environment. "The emphasis is now on fresh, seasonal food, all made on site by our team of four. We provide a Salad Bar, Deli Bar, a hot main menu and a range of 'grab and go' items. "It's always good to win new business close to home. This latest gain not only strengthens our presence in Oxfordshire but adds a very prestigious name to our business portfolio."
