Catering IT Specialist expands with new senior appointment

The Sheffield-based company has appointed Phil Jones as Head of Operations with responsibility for all post-sales services and project delivery functions. Phil re-joins Fretwell-Downing from the Tribal Group having previously worked for the group's FD-Learning Company until it was sold to Tribal eight years ago. The company has embarked on an overseas sales drive and is on the verge of signing deals with several local authorities in Sweden for its nutritional analysis system, Saffron Nutrition, as the country looks to follow in the UK's footsteps for improving the nutrition of school meals.
