Abstract
The Catering Equipment Distributors Association (CEDA) has undergone a rebrand, with the aim to increase its business profile.

The association aims to appeal directly to foodservice and hospitality operators with the rebrand.

Adam Mason, CEDA director general, said: “The process has taken months of research within our trade body, working with a dedicated branding agency and also talking to a host of operators across multiple sectors in foodservice to assess our old brand, profile and to develop something that shows the connecting professional service our members offer to deliver outstanding projects like those from our 2017 Grand Prix Awards in the Design Gallery at Commercial Kitchen.”

The rebrand comes as CEDA members have reported almost 56% better levels of sales enquiries in their last quarter ending April, compared to the previous quarter ending in January.

Mason Said: “We understand that there are many challenges in the foodservice economy at the moment and we are pleased able to show positive levels of enquires for CEDA members and also to be supporting them in developing their businesses, and our reach to operators, with ceda's new branding and strong marketing support planned for the rest of 2017 and beyond.”

The rebrand includes new CEDA logos dedicated to foodservice and hospitality, design, equipment and service offered by members.

The new branding will feature in CEDA marketing campaigns this year and in 2018, targeted at foodservice and hospitality projects and equipment.
