Catering company Penni Black appoints new head chef

London catering company Penni Black has appointed Andrew Harland as head chef to help expand the business.
Harland, who has more than 25 years' experience in the sector, will cater for all types of events, from private dinner parties to events with up to 5000 guests. He will be supported by a team of sous-chefs and freelance catering staff. He commented on his new position: "Penni Black already has an excellent reputation among its many, satisfied customers and we want to build on this to turn Penni Black into one of London's leading catering businesses." Charlotte Penniceard, founder and owner of Penni Black, added: "At Penni Black, our approach is to listen to the customer and to ensure that our service goes beyond their expectations and people come back knowing that we deliver every time. "Catering at this level means that the food has to look as good as it tastes and Andy's creativity, professionalism and eye for detail gives me every confidence that he can deliver great dishes, no matter what the occasion." Harland has also held previous positions at Mint Catering in London where he was responsible for the catering at high profile, themed events such as the Pirates of the Caribbean, High School musical and Narnia premieres.
