Caterer Creativevents wins £4m Hampton Court flower show contract

The business partnership between Creativevents and The Fine Food Company has strengthened its relationship with the Royal Horticultural Society at The Hampton Court Flower Show by winning a new five-year public catering contract.

Following a competitive tender The Fine Food Company and Creativevents have jointly won a contract worth more than £4m in turnover that will see the partnership continue its ‘innovative food and drink concepts’ at RHS Hampton Court Flower Show from July 2014.

Creativevents managing director Adrian Willson said:  “It is fantastic to earn this kind of recognition for our creative, high quality ideas.

“Our close working relationship with The Fine Food Company has enabled us to deliver a truly bespoke food experience which delivers real value for money to a very discernible customer.

“We have developed an excellent knowledge of the audience and the level of service and quality they expect.”

Rob Tame, managing director of The Fine Food Company said:  “Our expertise at cooking to order while coping with high volumes but with premium concepts comes from our wide ranging experience with a variety of audiences and attractions.

“We work very hard to deliver a unique event experience for our client and customers and both companies are committed to animal welfare, sustainability and sourcing good local ingredients.”

Caroline Hills, head of shows operations, said: “Creativevents and The Fine Food Company continue to demonstrate their understanding of our visitors and have proposed catering concepts with the quality, style and creativeness that our visitors have come to expect of a world-class show.

The partnership between Creativevents and The Fine Food Company goes from strength to strength, the pair having jointly won a five-year public catering contract for the RHS Chelsea Flower Show in 2011.

They will manage three main food ‘zones’ together, including a new ‘Street Food themed zone, as well as a range of ‘pop up’ outlets such as The Champagne & Seafood Bar, Wine & Pimms Bars and Artisan Coffee Bars for over 150,000 visitors at RHS Hampton Court Flower Show.
