Abstract
Ice cream equipment manufacturer Carpigiani has opened a new London development kitchen and showroom as part of the expansion of its nationwide training network.

The site, located in Park Royal, north London, will also provide a base for its Gelato University course in the capital.

Paul Ingram, managing director of Carpigiani UK, said: “Following the continued growth of our training programmes around the country, we took the decision to invest in a brand new facility in London. Located within easy reach of the M1, M40 and M25 motorways and just minutes from central London by train, the site is ideal for those living throughout the South East.

“Complete with some of our very latest equipment, we see the development kitchen being used for training of new and existing customers to experiment with new ideas and recipes as well as a convenient meeting space for our team to discuss bespoke packages and plans with our customers.”

The new addition adds to the company’s existing UK facilities and enables the company to cover details such as end-user retail and foodservice programmes, recipe formulation and menu development.
