Britvic launches trade site to ‘prepare’ operators for soft drinks levy

In a bid to help foodservice and leisure (FS&L) operators offset the arrival of the soft drinks levy on 6 April, drinks brand Britvic yesterday (7 February) launched its new trade site to “help outlets make their soft drinks sales soar.”

Offering support and advice to prepare businesses for the levy and its financial impact, the new site will feature tools such as a profit calculator and dispense conversion kit.

 

Russell Goldman, Britvic director of leisure, explained: “With April just around the corner, our primary focus is to ensure that operators have all the information and support that they need to select the right stock for their customers, and turn the levy into an opportunity in their outlets.

 

“Looking ahead, the website will evolve to offer operators essential category information and advice on one easy-to-access platform, enabling them to take full advantage of the incredible sales available through serving sensational soft drinks to their customers.”
