Abstract
Little Chef is making big changes to its customer offer including a new take away service, brand new menu, a new and improved coffee offering, free WiFi in all restaurants and free baby food.

Many long journeys, especially over the summer holidays do not allow for leisurely sit-down meals with more customers looking for a pit stop option. In response to customers’ needs the roadside chain has added a take-away service to its traditional restaurants.

All items on the Little Chef menu can now be wrapped up and taken on the road, everything from the Olympic breakfast to steak and ale pie allowing customers to ‘refuel’ and continue on their journey.

In addition, Little Chef has just launched 11 ‘Little Chef Express’ locations across the country giving customers access to food and snacks at the speed they need to get back in the car and on their journey.

The new menu offers the nations’ well loved favourites including a premium beef burger and ham, egg and chips.

Another improvement to the Little Chef offering is Lavazza, Italy’s favourite coffee. Lavazza coffee is now being served at Little Chef’s restaurants across the country.

Little Chef’s chairman, Graham Sims, said: “The Little Chef of old had lost its way, today the fight-back is under way. Over the last year we’ve learnt about quality and ethical sourcing and now we’ve put it all into practice. We’re upped our game with our new menu, new coffee and new take away services and above all we’ve considered customers perceptions of value throughout. Our goal is to bring back real value to Britain’s A roads.”
