Bristol based company Beyond the Bean has announced that it is a sponsor for the UK Barista Championship.
Beyond the Bean brand manager, Helen Ostle, said: “Having supported UKBC as sponsors, judges and committee members for over 5 years in the past we took a short break but are now we’re really excited to get back on board. BTB are all about supporting UK baristas and this is the time where everyone in the industry comes together. We can’t wait for the first heat!”
The Barista Championship’s first heat starts on November 23rd in Warwick and will span several months all over the UK culminating in a grand finale to pick the winner who will go on to represent the UK at the World Barista Championship in Seattle.
Competitors will have to test their coffee knowledge, as well as considering presentation, preparation and all round barista skills.
