Berrywhite awarded for crowdfunding success
Abstract
Organic drinks brand, Berrywhite has been named ‘Crowdfunded Business of the Year’ at this Startups Awards.

Last year, the brand successfully raised £378,000 in an oversubscribed Crowdcube round from over 170 investors.

Andrew Jennings, founder of Berrywhite, said: “My aim in establishing Berrywhite was to create a product that is not only delicious, but also free of anything that is bad for you. In developing and growing this business, I wanted to do good for others whilst also doing good for myself.”

Berrywhite took the top spot ahead of The House Crowd in second place and Cornerstone in third place.

The brand, which is schools compliant, is available at cafes, restaurants and workplace establishments, as well as a number of retail outlets.
