Abstract
Hospitality provider BaxterStorey has promoted Mack Allan from regional director for Scotland to regional managing director for south west England and Wales.

This will see him ‘strengthen’ the company’s presence in the region to better support clients and develop new opportunities for the business.

Having been at the company for 18 years, Allan has worked his way up the ranks through a number of leadership roles across Reading, London and Scotland. He also has experience as an armed forces chef.

He said: “The south west and Wales is a strong growth area and (BaxterStorey) has some fantastic clients there. My role is to nurture these relationships and set (the company) up for the next stage in our growth across this thriving region.

“Contract catering has moved on so much since I joined the industry (in 2000) and it is now recognised that businesses like BaxterStorey take pride in providing clients with high quality, fresh, local and seasonal ingredients.

“I’m excited about returning to the area and am really looking forward to renewing some old acquaintances.”

Co chief executive John Bennett, added: “We’re delighted to appoint Mack as regional managing director with his wealth of experience and strong knowledge of the local area”.
