Bath Coffee Festival returns with Taylors of Harrogate as main sponsor

5th Nov 2010 - 00:00
Abstract
The Bath Coffee Festival 2011, which is taking place on 21-22 May, has revealed Taylors of Harrogate as the headline sponsor.
The festival will for the first time feature the World of Coffee and the Coffee Academy. The World of Coffee will include representatives from different coffee growing regions showcasing information about their growers, coffee production, taste and quality of their beans. Meanwhile Taylors' will be bringing to life The Yorkshire Rainforest Project – an initiative to save an area of rainforest the size of the Yorkshire Dales in Peru's Amazon rainforest – one of the most threatened rainforests on the planet. Other highlights include workshops at the Coffee Academy, where industry experts and top baristas will give out hints and tips, such as how to make the perfect cup of coffee and get the best out of domestic machines. Kevin Sinfield, brand manager for Taylors of Harrogate, said: "Our family business produces the country's best selling roast and ground coffee range, so it's fitting that we should support the Bath Coffee Festival. "Our success has been based on buying top quality beans and careful blending and roasting to produce a range of coffees to suit any mood or occasion. "The festival is a great opportunity to share our passion and experience – along with our long term commitment to trading ethically and supporting coffee growing communities – with coffee drinkers."
