Abstract
The A-listers attendings this year’s British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) ceremony will be treated a vegan friendly menu, PETA has confirmed.

The plant-based menu will include peppers roasted over English Beachwood, leek and wild mushrooms, pickled heritage carrots with poppy seed dressing and beetroot gel, and black and white quinoa with radish, lemon and avocado.

Elisa Allen, associate director of PETA, said: “If there were an award for mouth-watering vegan catering, the BAFTAs would be a tough nominee to beat – attendees are in for a treat!

“We commend the BAFTAs for taking heed: more and more people are eating vegan to avoid health problems while helping animals and the environment, too."

Amongst the celebrities attending, Jessica Chastain, Alan Cumming, Woody Harrelson, Thandie Newton, Joaquin Phoenix and Natalie Portman are all proud vegans.
