Abstract
Catering equipment supplier, Artis, has appointed Ralph Grundy as its new managing directorial following the retirement of John Artis after 55 years in the industry.
The son of company founder Jack Artis, John Artis had held the position of managing director since 1975.
Grundy joins the company having held similar roles at Brakes and Churchill.
In another directorial change, Ian Jelley is to depart his role of sales director, with a successor yet to be announced.
Grundy said: “I am thrilled to join Artis at such an exciting time working with the holding company, BHS Tabletop AG, the World’s largest manufacturer of hospitality porcelain.
“I have inherited a dynamic and committed team along with a fabulous and exclusive portfolio of products. Together we are really looking forward to taking the business to the next level."
