Amadeus secures £3 million contract with Delapré Abbey
Abstract
Amadeus, part of the NEC Group, has successfully secured a £3 million contract over five years with Delapré Abbey Preservation Trust to run their new café and to support event catering needs.

Chris Reynolds, sales director for Amadeus, said: “Delapré Abbey is just the type of business that we can really help become a success. We will be providing our best in class services, tailored just for Delapré to help the business thrive.

“We are delighted to have been awarded the contract and look forward to working with Rachel to make the Abbey a must visit attraction in Northamptonshire.

“We expect great local patronage to the café, County wide patronage for afternoon tea in the Billiard Room, business use of the fabulous meeting and event rooms and it is the perfect setting for weddings and other family events.”

The catering functions are part of the wider restoration and development of Delapré Abbey funded by both The Heritage Lottery Fund and Northampton Borough Council.

Along with event catering, Amadeus will be serving food in The Conservatory Café, which is open to the public all year round.
