Under the three-year agreement Alpha LSG will cater the five flights per week on Garuda Indonesia’s new route, the first non-stop service between the UK and Indonesia, providing approximately 100,000 meals per annum to first, business and economy-class passengers.

“Alpha LSG was awarded this contract as a direct result of our culinary team’s unrivalled ability to offer superb authentic Indonesian cuisine and high quality Western menus to Garuda Indonesia, in line with their 5-star status.”
The contract now means Alpha LSG supplies catering services to five of the six Skytrax 5-star airlines operating out of London-Heathrow.
Alpha LSG was launched in 2012 as a UK-only joint venture by Alpha Flight Group and LSG Sky Chefs. It provides catering services from facilities located at 16 airports throught the UK, employing 3,600 people.
