Abstract
Bristol-based 3663 Catering Equipment Services has been awarded the Investor in Excellence standard.
This nationally recognised mark of quality promotes business excellence by looking at continuous improvement, reducing waste and using best practice. Lee Morton, depot general manager, was presented with the Investors in Excellence plaque at the annual Midlands Excellence Conference. Lee said: "We have been working towards achieving the Investors in Excellence standard for the past few years. We followed a rigorous assessment procedure demonstrating our strengths in leadership, policy and strategy, people, partnerships and resources, processes and results. "We are delighted to have reached this level of excellence - it is a valuable independent endorsement which shows our customers and employees how committed we are to excellence throughout our business. We were particularly pleased to receive praise for our inclusive people culture, the opportunities we give for employee involvement and feedback, good communication and positive recognition. "Establishing strong business partnerships was also highlighted as a key strength. Consistently exceeding our customers' expectations and continually developing our employees' skills grows success within the business and drives profit." Other companies that share this accolade include BMW, TNT logistics and WHSmith.
