1879 announces hospitality packages for Sunderland Airshow

1879 Events Management, part of leisure brand SoL, has announced new hospitality packages for the Sunderland International Airshow 2016.

As part of its contract 1879 Events Management, which also manages dining and events at the Stadium of Light and National Glass Centre, Sunderland, will be helping to cater for more than a million visitors who are expected to attend.

Gary Hutchinson, Director at 1879 Events Management, said: “Sunderland International Airshow is an amazing event and this year we wanted to give people the chance to enjoy the entire weekend in absolute style.  

“We’ve put together a selection of packages which cater for a variety of demographics and budgets and we look forward to welcoming aviation fans of all ages in July.”

1879 will launch its ‘Take Off Marquee Package’ on Friday 22nd July, including use of a private gin bar and Pimms van, as well as a BBQ station and live music.

Over the weekend, guests can enjoy the gold package, including an outdoor viewing area and street food selection, whilst families can opt for the ‘Family Zone Package’, also including street food and a number of activity areas.

Finally, the ‘Platinum Hospitality Package’ gives access to the Black Cats Lounge and features a champagne and canapés reception, four-course British grand buffet, live music and access to the gin bar and Pimms van.

1879 Event Management’s Hospitality Packages at the Sunderland International Airshow 2016 are priced at £35 per person for the Take Off Marquee Package, £50 per adult and £25 per child (under 16) for the Gold Package or Family Zone Package and £125 per person for the Platinum Package.
