14% Brits have eaten food they dislike to appear cultured, study reveals

Over one in ten Brits - 14% - have eaten food they secretly dislike in order to appear more cultured, according to a study by MSC Cruises UK.

The survey also showed that 29% of Brits pretend they are foodies, suggesting they regularly dine on oysters, quinoa and sushi.

The results come after 1,500 people across the UK were surveyed in an online poll about their food experiences.

The study found that top 20 foods Brits claim to like but secretly dislike. They are:
