ISS makes changes to executive group management team

Multinational facility services and catering firm ISS A/S has announced a number of changes to its executive group management team.

Europe will be consolidated from four operating units to two. Richard Sykes, currently regional chief executive officer of Western Europe, will become regional chief for Northern Europe.

Jacob Götzsche, currently regional chief executive of Central Europe, will become regionally chief executive for Continental Europe.

Group chief operating offficer, Martin Gaarn Thomsen, has decided to leave ISS to pursue a new opportunity. He will be replaced by Troels Bjerg, currently regional chief executive of Northern Europe.

Jeff Gravenhorst, group chief executive officer, said: "Martin Gaarn Thomsen joined ISS in 1999 and has held numerous positions across the group, including group chief operating oficer since February 2016.

“He has played an important role in implementing the ISS Way Strategy and we are sorry to see him leave but wish him well as he takes up a new opportunity.

“Troels Bjerg joined ISS in 2009 and has performed regional chief executive officer roles across Northern and Eastern Europe, being instrumental in winning and developing some of our most important key account customers. Prior to ISS, Troels had a long career at Daimler."

ISS A/S, which operates in approximately 75 countries, reported revenues of DKK 79.1 billion in 2016.
