Green & Fortune has helped raise over £25,000 for New Horizons charity by throwing a summer party at one of its North London venues.

The catering and events company laid on the event at its Rotunda Bar and Restaurant in Kings Cross to raise money for New Horizons Youth Centre as part of the charity’s 50th anniversary celebrations.

The event took place on 26 June and saw over 100 attendees treated to a barbecue, raffle and auction which was hosted by Channel 4 newsreader and patron of the charity, Jon Snow.

Green & Fortune, chief executive officer John Nugent said: “New Horizons is such a great charity and we’re delighted to be able to help them in this very special year for them.

“As a hospitality provider, we employ a number of young people across the business and witness first-hand the issues many of them face daily, it’s fantastic to see a charity dedicated to supporting them and raising awareness of homelessness in particular.

New Horizons was founded in 1967 by Lord Longford to address the needs of young people who were involved in drug misuse in the West End of London.
