Arena announces Summer Event line-up

The Arena Summer Event will take place on Friday 13 July at Stationer's Hall, London.

The event will explore the demands and expectations of today’s employees, and how leaders can harness these to create a stand-out, appealing people culture.

There will also be an industry insight session that will consider ‘market confidence’, including the key challenges and opportunities ahead for operators and suppliers, and the impact of the soft drinks levy.

The programme of speakers and panel discussion features: Chris Hill, New World Trading Company chief executive; Jonathan Raggett, managing director of Red Carnation Hotels; Stephanie Hamilton, head of people and culture, ISS UK & Ireland; Hazel Detsiny, managing director, Unilever Food Solutions; and Tevin Tobun, managing director, Gate Ventures.

Arena director, Lorraine Wood, said: “The Arena Summer Event is a new style of event that focuses on a relevant industry theme.

"We have a fantastic line up of speakers to discuss and inspire our members and attendees on attracting, engaging and retaining people, which is a very important topic for all, from food manufacturers and wholesalers to contract caterers and pub, restaurant and hotel operators. Anyone responsible for or associated with recruiting, managing and developing people in foodservice and hospitality should attend.”

Guest will sample the food, drink and hospitality of Chester Boyd, resident caterer of Stationer's Hall, during the drinks reception and over lunch.
